Is that guy skating towards me?

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Now it is awful in a lot of ways too, and my first reaction was one of horror, but upon second viewing I really had to laugh out loud, and hard. This is Patrick Roy's son demonstrating some of that level headedness that got his dad to the top. What is so amusing is the fact that the other goalie didn't see anything coming. I've never seen anyone try to take the high road and get the crap beat out of them harder. If I could enhance the video MI3 style you'd actually see that poor guy putting on glasses at one point hoping that Jonathan would follow at least one of those hallowed rules of punching. 1. Never hit a guy with glasses. 2. Don't tuck your thumb into your fist. 3. Try fighting someone who is remotely interested in fighting. 4. Follow through. 5. If you hold hold A longer the punch will be super strong.

Without question, the highlight of the entire "fight" is at the end. Roy has just pounded the guy repeatedly in the head, starts to get up, looks down at his (presumably squealing and whimpering) foe, and then gives him a body shot for good measure.

Just fantastic work on his part.

Just realized the version you posted edited out the body shot. Here's a different clip that has it (at the 1:45 mark):

This is so lame, but I actually tried pasting some of the french comments from youtube into babelfish to see what the prevailing opinion was with the french-Canadians.

It turns out that the french on the Internet is just as poorly written as the English. For some reason it never occurred to me that other people would butcher their language too.

I'm so lame!

@tbot: yeah, it is pretty bad, for both languages.

I keep expecting Roy-boy jr. to yell out "Falcon--PUNCH!" during this. Then again, he's fighting someone who doesn't want to fight. What an ASS

The celebration afterwards just topped it off for me.

Patrick Roy has always and will always be the biggest disgrace to the game of hockey. Good to see he taught his son well.

Its too bad he demanded a trade like the bitch that he is. The Canadiens deserved him.
